Trøndelag R&D Institute is regional research institute conducting applied social research and development. The research institute is located in Steinkjer nearby Nord Trøndelag University college.

Applied
The activity spends from long term research projects, to research based analytic reporting and consultancy work. We use our knowledge to support development in both the business area and public administration. We can take a role as project manager, managing processes, merge competence and implement changes.

Projects
All our activity is organized as projects – time limited activities with clear goals. During a year we are involved in about 100 projects, some small and some big, ranging from one day to several years. Our customers range from small private firms to national authorities and research council.

20 employees
The institute has 20 employees with different academic background and higher degrees in different disciplines.

We have close contact with other national and international research organizations in some of our main areas.
